Torsten
Software Development
11+ years experience

Hi, my name is Torsten. I'm a Full Stack software developer working with Scala, Java, Clojure and Typescript, amongst others. I love developing new things and working with great teams; I taught courses, spoke at conferences and wrote a book. I started my professional career in 1995 (yes, last millennia), developing back end software in C++ or Java. Since 2009 I transitioned to a more functional programming style with Scala, Clojure or Javascript. Oh, I enjoy baking my own sourdough bread!
