About the role

As a Senior SCRUM Master / Agile Coach, you will have the opportunity to contribute your ideas and experience to us and play a significant role in the success of the initiative.

This position has a hard requirement of business fluent spoken and written German. The position is fully remote within the European Timezone and has a requirement to work German hours.

Key responsibilities

  • With your agile attitude and your knowledge of SCRUM and other agile approaches, you will accompany and coach teams and managers in different contexts and thus make an important contribution to our long-term, agile development
  • You are responsible for the introduction and establishment of the SCRUM process and support the predominantly remote teams in conducting and further developing SCRUM events and other workshops.
  • You ensure the effectiveness of the teamwork and help to remove obstacles
  • You promote self-organization, interdisciplinary collaboration and encourage the team to try agile development practices
  • You support and coach the product owner on issues around techniques for effective product goal definition and product backlog management
  • You support colleagues and stakeholders in understanding and implementing an empirical approach to complex work
  • You create an atmosphere of trust and transparency - within and between teams
  • You actively shape the agile community, share your knowledge and promote agile methods

Ideal experience

  • You have several years of practical experience as a SCRUM Master and sound knowledge in the practical implementation of agile methods.
  • You are highly motivated and want to make a difference
  • You work responsibly and are good at organizing and communicating
  • You are able to moderate meetings and workshops with confidence
  • You are characterized by an empathetic and collegial style
  • You enjoy working in a team. You are able to resolve emerging conflicts quickly
  • You have a strong understanding of technical contexts and an interest in digital trends and innovations
  • Ideally experience in working in scalable frameworks (e.g. SAFe) and comprehensive MS Office, Jira and Confluence skills
  • Business fluent German and very good English skills
