About the role

We are seeking a driven and self-motivated Sales Development Representative to join our sales team. As a mid-level Sales Development Representative, you will play a critical role in generating leads and identifying new business opportunities for Flexhire. You will be responsible for researching and contacting potential clients via email, phone, and social media to introduce them to our offerings and schedule product demos. In addition, you will work closely with the sales team and company founders to ensure a seamless handoff of leads and maintain accurate records of all sales-related activities in our CRM system. OTE for this role is $75,000 with a base of up to $49,000 commensurate with experience. Commission structure is based on both volume of qualified opportunities and a percentage of total revenue generated.

Key responsibilities
  • Identify new business opportunities through research and proactive outreach
  • Qualify leads and set appointments for product demos with our sales team and founders
  • Communicate the value of our products and services to potential clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all sales-related activities in our CRM system
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads
  • Provide regular updates on progress and success rates to the sales team and management
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors to identify new sales opportunities
Ideal experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in sales or business development, ideally in recruitment or technology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot
  • Understanding of sales processes and lead generation strategies
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience in B2B sales or selling software solutions
  • Knowledge of account-based marketing strategies
  • Familiarity with sales enablement tools such as Outreach or SalesLoft
  • Understanding of sales metrics and analytics
  • Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with remote or semi-remote teams
