About the role

JOB DUTIES: Oversee and manage overall project success and deliverables, team planning, communication and coordination, delivery of all project milestones and outcomes. Lead set up and orientation on projects with key members of the team, and subsequently with team based offsite. Lead daily standup with Flexhire team, assign tasks and organize work for development and QA. Direct all communication and coordination of development/QA tasks and weekly updates. Coordinate with Flexhire management, providing documented reports on performance to plan and flagging any schedule or cost concerns. Develop, approve and implement software test plans and test environments in order to identify system software issues and causes. Oversee Use Flexhire’s systems to test the assessments as outlined in the test plans on approved test environments. Log and report any defects and ensure they are addressed appropriately before release. Provide guidance to remote team in Use Flexhire’s authoring and publishing system to export and import files for translation. Coordinate with remote team to configure and publish exams in Flexhire’s publishing system, address any defects, perform scoring passes, and other QA work on published exams. Participate in the development of scoring scripts and creating code snippets according scoring rubrics. Assist in hiring QA offsite personnel by performing technical interviews and profile selection.

Key responsibilities

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, plus two (2) years of technical project/program management, software development, software quality assurance or related experience.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: In lieu of Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, employer will accept two (2) additional years of technical project/program management, software development, software quality assurance or related experience.

Ideal experience

This position also requires education or experience in: JavaScript, Java; HTML, XML, CSS; Visual Basic; SQL Server; and Automated and manual quality assurance testing.
